Upon your first visit to Integrated Pain & Joint Care, you should expect to be welcomed with a warm smile. You will be asked to fill out our required forms, which will help us gain information about you and your condition. You may request these forms prior to your visit and our Patient Care Coordinator will email them to you.

Your doctor will then talk with you about the history of your injuries and ask you specific questions regarding your condition. This will help us determine what type of care will most benefit you and your condition.

After a thorough consultation, you will undergo a complete examination. This will include standard orthopedic, neurological, functional, postural, and physical examinations. Remember, we treat the source of your pain, not just your symptoms, with a collaborative team approach. Through these examinations, the doctor will gain valuable information regarding your condition. If necessary, the doctor may take x-rays or refer you for additional testing procedures. Nothing will be done in our office without your consent.

An x-ray is sometimes required to get a full evaluation of a patient. The need for x-ray is considered on a case-by-case basis. All x-rays are examined by the doctors and shared with you.

Report of Findings

Once all the necessary examinations have been performed and pertinent information collected, the doctor will let you know the cause of your dysfunction and/or pain.
